The Power of One Self Defense Institute has been empowering humanity through the teachings of self-defense skills, kenpo karate, jiu-jitsu and kickboxing for over 25 years. Our instructors are personally selected for not only their skill and achievements in the martial arts but also their ability to effectively relate that knowledge and understanding to students of all age levels and backgrounds.

We are located at 6170 Bellflower Blvd. in Lakewood, CA and also have five other locations available in Cerritos, LongBeach/Los Altos, Long Beach/Bixby Knolls, Carson and Upland. Our Lakewood location is headed by our first full black belt family, Mr. Greg Bennett, Mrs. Tami Bennett, and Mr. Wylie Bennett.
