Operation Gratitude for Veterans Day and our Deployed Troops here we come!
Listen, if your house is anything like my house right now, then it’s FULL of candy…
Halloween was fun but now it’s over and our kids have already enjoyed more sweets this past week then their bodies need. Quite frankly, I too have had too many sweets.
As Veteran’s day is quickly approaching, we felt that an awesome opportunity was presenting itself to us.
We will be collecting candy at all of our PO1 (Power of One) locations over the next week, Nov. 3rd-10th to donate to Operation Gratitude. A non profit that creates care packages for the deployed US troops, Veterans, wounded heroes, etc.
We will handle all of the paper work, shipping and small details, all you need to do is share this opportunity with your children. Yes! Operation Gratitude for Veterans Day and our Deployed Troops is an opportunity for us to give back
Yes, your kids will eat the candy if it’s just laying around. Or us parents will…But is it really necessary? If you are interested, have your children pick out 5 of their favorite ones and then give them the opportunity to give early this year and bring the rest in.
Please only send in unopened candies and preferably in ziplock bags for easier storage .
Students can bring to the front desk or give to their instructors.
Special tips for those who bring in good size bags
Operation Gratitude for Veterans Day and our Deployed Troops is just one way for our team to remember and help! Its what we do! Power of One!!
See you soon,
The PO1 Lakewood Team
